Finding Joy in the Little Things (like cans of food)
Today was a big, super fun grocery shopping day for me, and I'm saying that with a straight face. Really, no sarcasm. I had extra money to stock up on depleted pantry items, and I was excited. As excited as you can be buying cans of corn and cream of mushroom soup. But I anticipated the moment when I got to put all the food away in the pantry. That's where the real excitement began.
I love my pantry. My kids love not being sent to the basement for a can of beans I need for dinner. Only one problem - I have no idea how to organize it, and I wish I would have thought about it over the Christmas break, when I had free time to paint some pretty shelves and figure out how I want everything to look inside there. I've seen some awesome pantry ideas on Pinterest but didn't think to graze through my boards during the break. Go figure.
I need another vacation.
